Software Review
  • Reviewed Qfit fitting software (from ExSilent). Liked:
    • Audiograms: ANSI standard.
    • Quick Tuning arrow buttons.
    • Fitting Advisor (Fitting Solutions). Name is very appropriate.
    • Features to highlight for a specific product.
    • Fine Tuning: Gain, EQs, MPO, CR, TK's up/down arrow controls, and band grouping (fine, low/mid/high, all).
    • Band grouping:
      • 250, 500
      • 1k, 1.5k, 2k, 2.5k
      • 3k, 3.5k, 4.5k, 5.5k, 6.5k
    • Show Audiograms with Charts.
    • Verification (In Situ): Play individual tones, or Loud/Soft ranges.
    • Data Logging: Total Hrs. of Operation, Memory Used Most, Avg Battery Life (hrs).
  • Potential ezFIT changes:
    • Fitting Charts: use ANSI standard.
    • Acclimatization: convert text to hint.

      • Use arrows up/down, with values in middle, and switcher control for selecting CR, TK, MPO.
      • Use groups (4), with the 2.5 - 3.5 kHz sliders in a single group.
    • Advanced: Rename control, provide arrows up;/down if possible.
    • Patient Controls:
      • Restyle iPad control to be smaller, and display full labels.
      • Possibly change Mem Access to On/Off.
    • In Situ Verification:
