ezHITConfig
Validation of Product Shipping Defaults XML

XML Generation

  1. ezHITConfig: Prepare circuit for new settings.
    • Read circuit.
    • Set any parameters that need adjusting. (Company, Product ID, factory options, etc.)
    • Save parameters to circuit.
    • Close application.
  2. Slider (Intricon's engineering software): Load new settings.
    • Read circuit.
    • Open the source PGM file (provided by customer or Engineering department).
    • Load and lock (from the menu: Communication > Load; Communication > Lock).
    • Close application.
  3. ezHITConfig: Export new settings as XML shipping defaults.

XML Validation

  1. ezHITConfig: Clear ezHITConfig-specific parameters and configuration from circuit.
    • Read circuit (Connect).
    • Refurbish circuit (which saves any changes to circuit immediately) (Refurbish > Refurbish).
    • Close application.
  2. Slider: Clear Slider-specific parameters and configuration from circuit.
    • Read circuit.
    • Review and clear scratch data (optional).
    • Load and lock the parameters (from the menu: Communication > Load; Communication > Lock) of a different circuit profile so memory parameter values change.
    • Close application.
  3. ezHITConfig: Load new shipping defaults.
    • Read circuit (Connect).
    • Set brand, product and style then load shipping defaults (newly generated XML file) (Build > Ship Defaults>.
    • Save parameters to circuit (Build > Save).
    • Close application.
  4. Slider: Generate PGM file for validation.
    • Read circuit (Connect).
    • Export parameters as PGM file (File > Save).
    • Close application.
  5. WinMerge: Validate source PGM file by comparing it to final PGM file.
    • Compare (diff) the resulting PGM file with the original source PGM file (provided by customer or Engineering department)
