Feedback/Whistling
- Adaptive: Activate Adaptive Feedback Canceller.
- Advanced: Decrease MPO (Added 9/9/08. Assists feedback canceller without applying gain reduction. — Jenny Sudduth 2008/09/09 18:59 )
- Equalizer: Decrease Gain at 4.2 - 7.2 kHz. (Reordered equalizer steps, better to decrease these frequencies first. — Jenny Sudduth 2008/09/09 18:59 )
- Equalizer: Decrease Gain at 2.5 - 3.5 kHz.
- Equalizer: Decrease Gain at 3.0 - 7.2 kHz.
- Decrease Overall Gain.
- Tips:
- Check ear canal for wax/debris.
- Check receiver direction and canal length.
- Reduce vent.
Background Noise
- Adaptive: Increase level of Adaptive Noise Reduction.
- Equalizer: Decrease Gain at 200 & 500 Hz.
- Compression: Decrease MPO in all channels (Added MPO as new setting. — Jenny Sudduth 2008/09/10 12:29 )
- Compression: Increase Compression Ratio in Channels 1, 2, & 3.
- Compression: Increase TK in all channels 1, 2, & 3. (Added TK as new setting. — Jenny Sudduth 2008/09/10 12:29 )
- Equalizer: Increase Gain at 1.5 - 3.5 kHz.
- Decrease Overall Gain.
* Tips: * If these programming solutions are insufficient, please call Audina to discuss the value of directional microphones (if not already in use). (Removed Tips and last statement: Unnecessary. — Jenny Sudduth 2008/09/10 12:29 )
